The 1000 Goldens Project
There is nothing quite as wonderful as a Golden Retriever. The 1000 Goldens Project is a campaign designed to celebrate and honor the love we have for them. Our goal is to interview 1000 people who have had their lives touched by the breed. Each story and an accompanying photo will be posted on this site for others to enjoy. Our long term goal is to publish a book highlighting selected entries, resulting in a keepsake to commemorate the project. When this dream becomes a reality all proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to a Golden Retriever charity, to be determined. (We will survey our participants to decide if it will be a Golden Retriever rescue organization or the Golden Retriever Foundation). A Golden Life is a dog blog and diary written by our Golden Retriever, Farley. He is the sunshine of our life and the inspiration behind everything on our website. Through his blog, not only does he share little glimpses into his daily canine adventures with us, he also offers techniques for dogs to train their humans, dog product reviews, photos, videos and updates on the 1000 Goldens Project.
