Walking Mom

It has been awhile since we went on an adventure, so I decided it was high time I took Mom for a walk at the big park. I think of myself as a personal trainer and like to pull Mom real hard to give her some cardio. I also keep my tail wagging for encouragement.

Occasionally I would pause so she could enjoy looking at my handsome self, and ponder the beauty of nature.

We even took some time to make new friends. I think this dog might be like my blog friends Fiona and TaiChi? I found this little dog to be cute and bouncy.

All in all it was a wonderful way to start the day and I smiled all the way home.

I do the same thing. Momma is always complaining about her jolly bottom so I say, "walk fast like me and you will leave it behind!" But she is most slow and frustrating.

Hi!!!!! Glad to visit. What a lovely place to walk! Love the lake and fall colors.
Mom tries to run with me in the morning, but I like to sprint, and then sit and check things out....sprint, then sit....my pattern. Mom tries to lure me with treats, or she keeps jogging or tries to pull me when I sit. But, nope! I just want to look at things....then I'll get that sprint going again.
Will visit soon pal!

Farley mom is so lucky to have you! If it weren't for you she would have such a boring life. I love that you are seen as a personal trainer and wag the tail for encouragement. Very clever. That must be Sophie's goal :)

Personal Trainer....I like it....just another one of the many services we (of the fur-therhood) offer our peeps. Now if I could just get mine up a little earlier in the a.m. we could "train" in the morning before she leaves me for the day. Hmmmmm. (I don't think walking to the end of the block for a business call is doing her any good - we need to TRAIN!!!!) - Abbey

What a nice parkie for a walk! Farley, good job for getting your mom to go for a walk. Those humans, they get lazy sometimes, just like we had to get mom to go for a walk this weekend.
