The Time Change

What is with the humans and clocks? Recently they did this thing they call "the time change." It makes no sense to me. All I know is that it's dark when the humans get home from work and I am getting less outdoor time. It has also interfered with my blogging because my photographer seems to think that when it's dark she should be able take naps on the couch. Hello?! I spent my whole day sleeping! It is now time for you to entertain me! Perhaps we dogs need to join together and start a petition to end this nonsense?

This morning I took matters into my own paws. I woke the humans up at 5:30 AM. I proceeded to bounce around, poke my stuffies at them, and used every trick in the book to make them bonkers. Finally Mom put on my leash and took me for a sunrise walk to help burn off some energy. I share this strategy with you, in hopes that you too can talk some sense into your humans!

No problem here! We make sure momma is up by 6 AM at the latest, but lately we have been getting her up closer to 4:30! What time change?

We don't understand why they can't leave the time alone...now it's too dark too soon:( We're following your lead and getting up earlier than normal just to see the sun.

Oh, Farley! I'm totally beside you! The time changed here too... I'm so fed up with it! I sort f imposed a new time schedule here... mine! Why it is so hard for the hoomans to see that it is the most important one, the only one that matters?!?! :)

Anyway, I love your picture!

Love,

Augie and Ti didn't care about walking and playing. All they wanted to know was WHY ON EARTH WERE BREAKFAST AND DINNER SO LATE?!? Oh, the looks! Like they were starving! LOL

Hi Farley! Here the opposite occurs. The day is brighter when my humans come home from work sowe can have more time out there and better conditions for photos.

Yep. I hate the time change, too. Because it means that by the time Mom is done making dinner, there is no time for after dinner football. (Which means that I get to play short-distance fetch with Dad - we use a stuffie and he throws it the length of the House With Wheels - which is better than nothing, but not as good as football...) However, because it is light earlier, TaiChi and I get Mom up earlier now, and make her take us on early morning walkies. Mom retaliates by napping in the afternoon. (Which is okay, too, because I get to nap with her.) But I like it dark later. Actually, I think I just like long days....

I love your picure, BTW!

Farley...I tell ya...I think you and Sophie have been communicating! She just can't seem to figure out the time change either. Great post. Thanks for bringing it to light!
